In Corniglia there are numerous bars, restaurants, wine bars, pizzerias and sandwich shops with take-away service. In the village there are markets, shops selling typical products of the Cinque Terre and souvenirs. There is a post office and a cash dispenser. In Via alla Stazione there is a pharmaceutical dispensary. The commercial activities are all open in high season. In mid and low season they may be closed. In high season it is recommended to book restaurants. There are no petrol stations in the Cinque Terre. The nearest are in La Spezia and Levanto.

In Corniglia, the closest place to go to the beach is the picturesque cliff La Marina, reachable from the center of town by a beautiful staircase overlooking the sea, five minutes to go down and ten to go back up. The sea is immediately deep and its colors will remain impressed in your heart. Do not forget to bring your mask for an unforgettable swim. La Marina is not equipped and there are no bars. The nearest equipped beaches are located in Monterosso.

The fastest way to move between the Cinque Terre is by train. From April to October, every 15 minutes (during the daytime) you can take a regional train or the Cinque Terre Express. From one station to another the trip takes about five minutes. It is not recommended to use the car to move from one village to another. It is difficult to find parking and the journey is much longer than by train. Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso can also be reached by boat.

From Corniglia it is possible to follow the path along the sea up to Vernazza and the high path towards Manarola and Riomaggiore.
